Food and drink for your stay (or pick this up on your way through one of the local villages), boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty, rain, wind jacket, warm clothes, outdoor equipment – hiking shoes, mountain bike, etc, chargers for phone, computer.

Unfortunately we have a strict no pets policy. While we have no doubt each of your pets are perfectly well behaved, there is just too much precious wildlife – and also grazing cattle – on the property for us to risk it.

Phone reception is ok, but can sometimes be a little patchy if looking to use a lot of data. Guess it gives you the perfect opportunity for a bit of a digital detox. The health and safety of our guests and our Wildernest team is our foremost priority. We are closely following government COVID-19 guidelines and any changes to directives in our local area. To keep you safe while you’re visiting Wildernest during the COVID-19 situation, we’ve taken further preventative measures to keep you safe. We have:

  • Enhanced our cleaning activities to ensure targeted cleaning and sterilising of high touch areas
  • Provided hand sanitiser
  • Enabled virtual check ins

Let us know if you have any concerns, before, during or after your stay so we can continue to keep all of guests and employees safe and well. We are all in this together and only together we will fight it!
