Yes and yes. While each of our properties run operating totally off grid, they all have solar for power and gas for the heating, hot water, oven and stove.
Food and drink for your stay (or pick this up on your way through one of the local villages), boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty, rain, wind jacket, warm clothes, outdoor equipment – hiking shoes, mountain bike, etc, chargers for phone, computer.
Unfortunately we have a strict no pets policy. While we have no doubt each of your pets are perfectly well behaved, there is just too much precious wildlife – and also grazing cattle – on the property for us to risk it.
Phone reception is ok, but can sometimes be a little patchy if looking to use a lot of data. Guess it gives you the perfect opportunity for a bit of a digital detox. Take a couple of days to tune out from all the zoom calls, emails, insta posts, whatsapp group message and simply just enjoy the moment!
